CVE-2025-6012 – WordPress Auto Attachments Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

    June 13, 2025

    CVE ID : CVE-2025-6012

    Published : June 13, 2025, 8:15 a.m. | 1 hour, 49 minutes ago

Description : The Auto Attachments plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via admin settings in all versions up to, and including, 1.8.5 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level permissions and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This only affects multi-site installations and installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled.

    Severity: 5.5 | MEDIUM
