    Fine del Supporto per Linux Mint 20.x

    Dopo 5 anni dal loro rilascio, le versioni di Linux Mint 20.x, che includono le versioni 20, 20.1, 20.2 e 20.3, hanno raggiunto la fine del loro ciclo di vita, indicata con il termine EOL (End Of Life). Questo significa che queste versioni non sono più supportate ufficialmente. Sebbene continueranno a funzionare, non riceveranno più aggiornamenti di sicurezza dai repository software ufficiali.

    Se stai utilizzando una di queste versioni, hai 2 opzioni principali per continuare a ricevere supporto e aggiornamenti:

    • Nuova installazione di Linux Mint 22.1 (consigliata): Questa versione è supportata fino al 2029. Effettuare una nuova installazione è l’approccio più pulito e sicuro. Ti consigliamo di eseguire un backup completo dei tuoi dati prima di procedere con l’installazione.
    • Percorso di aggiornamento tramite Linux Mint 21: Questo percorso ti garantisce supporto fino al 2027 e prevede diversi passaggi:
    1. Aggiornamento a Linux Mint 20.3: Se utilizzi le versioni 20, 20.1 o 20.2, segui questo tutorial per aggiornare alla versione 20.3.
    2. Aggiornamento da Linux Mint 20.3 a 21: Una volta raggiunta la versione 20.3, segui questo tutorial per passare alla versione 21.
    3. Aggiornamento facoltativo da Linux Mint 21 a 21.3: Se desideri ulteriormente aggiornare alla versione 21.3, puoi seguire questo tutorial.

    Gli aggiornamenti minori alla versione 20.3 sono generalmente semplici, veloci e facili da eseguire. Tuttavia, l’aggiornamento dalla versione 20.3 alla 21 è un processo più lungo e complesso.
