    Ubuntu’s “Questing Quokka” has begun its journey to release land, but it’s coming loaded with fresh provisions – devs have announced plans to ship a pair new apps in the 25.10 release. Loupe is looking to replace Eye of GNOME as the default image viewer in Ubuntu 25.10, while Ptyxis is set to supplant GNOME Terminal as default terminal emulator.
