    openSUSE rimuove l'ambiente desktop Deepin dai suoi repository software

    Il team di openSUSE ha deciso di rimuovere Deepin Desktop Environment dai repository software di openSUSE. Il SUSE security team ha motivato la decisione dopo aver notato una violazione delle policy nel packaging di Deepin Desktop Environment in openSUSE.

    Per aggirare i requisiti di revisione della sicurezza, il manutentore dei pacchetti di Deepin della community di openSUSE ha implementato una soluzione alternativa che elude i meccanismi regolari di impacchettamento RPM per installare contenuti con restrizioni.

    A causa di questa violazione, e alla luce della difficile storia che il SUSE security team ha avuto con le revisioni del codice Deepin, i manutentori hanno deciso di rimuovere temporaneamente i pacchetti software di Deepin Desktop dai repository software di openSUSE.
