    Enlightenment 0.27 Released with Bug Fixes, New Modules

    A new version of the Enlightenment desktop is available, and while it offers few major new features it contains plenty of welcome fixes. Enlightenment 0.27 succeeds Enlightenment 0.26, which was released back in December 2023. Enlightenment (often abbreviated to ‘E’) is not as well-known or widely used as GNOME, KDE Plasma, Xfce, or tiling-window managers like Sway. But it’s not without its fans, and its lineage goes back to the early days of Linux.
