    Visit the official download page for MongoDB Community Server.

    Choose:

    • Version: Latest stable
    • Platform: Windows
    • Package: MSI

    Run the .msi installer → Select Complete Setup.

    Tick the option Install MongoDB as a Service.

    By default, MongoDB will be installed in:

    C:Program FilesMongoDBServer

    Open CMD (Command Prompt) use this command to check the connection:

    mongosh
