At Perficient Hyderabad, we embraced this special occasion on January 23rd, 2025, with immense enthusiasm, transforming our workplace into a hub of patriotism, unity, and joy. From decorating the office in tricolour balloons and garlands to engaging in fun-filled activities, the day was a perfect tribute to the values that define our great nation.
A Day of Festivities and Patriotism
The day began with the entire office coming together to decorate the workspace with vibrant tricolour balloons and garlands. Each desk reflected the spirit of the nation, while the reception area became a visual treat for visitors and employees with beautiful decorations symbolising India’s rich heritage and unity. The collaborative effort created a patriotic atmosphere that set the tone for the celebrations.
Quiz and Games: Fostering Team Spirit
As the day passed by in afternoon, the celebrations gained momentum with a series of engaging activities. The office was divided into teams of six members, and the first event was an exciting Quiz Competition focused on Republic Day and significant national events. The teams competed with enthusiasm, showcasing their knowledge and love for the country.
Following the quiz, we delved into a series of fun games, including brain teasers and word scrambles. The energy in the room was contagious as colleagues worked together, laughed, and bonded over the challenges.
Drawing Competition: A Patriotic Twist
The highlight of the day was a unique and entertaining game where participants, blindfolded and were tasked with drawing the Indian flag on a whiteboard. Laughter echoed through the room as everyone cheered on their colleagues attempting to sketch the beloved tricolour. The creativity and participation displayed the unyielding spirit of camaraderie among the team.
Celebrating Achievements
Winners of the quiz and drawing competition were announced amidst applause, and our Head of Hyderabad, Parvez Maideen Managing Director, graciously presented gifts to the champions. The joy of victory combined with the encouragement from peers made this moment memorable for all.
A Unique Flag Hoisting Ceremony
The most heartwarming part of the celebration was the flag hoisting ceremony. In an innovative setup, the Indian flag was attached to curtains and gracefully rose as the curtains were pulled, recreating the symbolic act of hoisting the flag. Parvez Maideen led the ceremony, and as the National Anthem played, the room was filled with pride and unity.
Capturing Memorable Moments
The event concluded with a photo session in our beautifully decorated office. Employees proudly wore flags on their attire, symbolising their love for the nation. The smiles, laughter, and togetherness captured in the photos reflected the essence of Republic Day.
