    Laravel Nightwatch

    November 7, 2024

    Laravel Nightwatch

Laracon AU has begun and with it comes exciting news from Taylor and the rest of the Laravel team. Announcing Laravel Nightwatch! First-class monitoring designed for Laravel.

Nightwatch will be a hosted application monitoring platform built for Laravel developers and teams that demand real-time insights into their applications. The team has meticulously optimized it for Laravel and it will provide deep, context-aware monitoring.

Jess Archer did a demo of Nightwatch and it was packed full of useful features and insights into every aspect of your Laravel application. You are able to monitor requests, jobs, scheduled tasks, logs, exceptions, slow routes, deploys and so much more. You are seeing a complete picture of your application’s health and performance with zero configuration.

Nightwatch is under active development and early access starts Q1 2025. As for pricing? Taylor said they are still working out those details but the goal is to offer flexible pricing that caters to developers and teams of all sizes. Whether you are a solo developer or a large enterprise, it will be accessible to everyone.

With Laravel Cloud having recently been announced at Laracon US, you may be wondering if Nightwatch only works with that service. Well fear not, Nightwatch is designed to work with any Laravel application on all hosting platforms. Users of Cloud, Forge, Vapor or any custom infrastructure will all benefit from seamless integration.
