Perficient Insights: Dreamforce 2024 with Ryan Ambrose

    August 16, 2024

Meet Ryan Ambrose, a Portfolio Specialist at Perficient for our Salesforce practice, based in Chicago, Illinois. Ryan works closely with clients to optimize their use of Salesforce, ensuring that enterprises get the most value from the platform.

    The Dreamforce Experience

Ryan is no stranger to Dreamforce, and one of his favorite memories from the event was in 2019 when he got to check a bucket-list item off his list—seeing Fleetwood Mac live in concert. But that’s not all that made the experience memorable. On his way back to the Moscone Center, Ryan bumped into a client unexpectedly. “We hadn’t planned to meet, but we ended up grabbing coffee later that day and discussing the next phase of their active Salesforce implementation. That impromptu conversation led to some key strategic moves for phase two, which we were able to execute shortly after Dreamforce.”

    What Dreamforce Means to Ryan

As a subject matter expert on the Salesforce platform, Ryan takes pride in sharing insights with clients, especially those who can’t attend Dreamforce themselves. “I’ll be attending many sessions, both hosted by Perficient and Salesforce, to stay ahead of the curve. I’m excited to bring back new knowledge about where the platform is headed, successful outcomes from other clients, and use cases we may not have explored yet.”

    Top Session Pick: Data Cloud

Ryan is particularly looking forward to learning more about Salesforce Data Cloud, a newer part of the platform that has been generating a lot of buzz. “Our clients are starting to see some really exciting outcomes from Data Cloud, and I’m eager to learn more about how we can leverage this to deliver even better results. It’s definitely at the top of my list this year.”

With his finger on the pulse of all things Salesforce, Ryan is excited to dive deeper into the platform’s developments, from client success stories to future enhancements, all with the goal of helping clients stay ahead in their Salesforce journeys.

CVE-2025-3301 – Marvell Series 2 DPA Vulnerability: ECDH and EdDSA Countermeasures Missing

    April 29, 2025

    CVE ID : CVE-2025-3301

    Published : April 29, 2025, 2:15 p.m. | 1 hour, 48 minutes ago

Description : DPA countermeasures are unavailable for ECDH key agreement and EdDSA signing operations on Curve25519 and Curve448 on all Series 2 modules and SoCs due to a lack of hardware and software support. A successful DPA attack may result in exposure of confidential information. The best practice is to use the impacted crypto curves and operations with ephemeral keys to reduce the number of DPA traces that can be collected.
