Perficient @ The 2024 Michigan Kidney Walk

    May 28, 2024

On Sunday, May 19th, 2024, 21 individuals consisting of Perficient employees and their family members, participated in the 2024 Michigan Kidney Walk at the Detroit Zoo. This annual event aims to raise funds for the National Kidney Foundation, an organization that provides critical support to those affected by kidney disease.

    A Tradition of Giving

This year marked our third consecutive participation in the Kidney Walk. Our team’s commitment to fundraising achieved remarkable results. Not only did we surpass our previous fundraising efforts, but we also reached our goal of $3,000. In total, our team raised $3,362.  Our fundraising success did not go unnoticed. Out of 238 participating teams, we were ranked 12th in terms of fundraising. The collective efforts of all teams resulted in a grand total of $313,888 raised for the National Kidney Foundation this year.

    Making a Difference

Kidney Walks are a vital source of support as we provide real-time assistance for those in need. More than 80 cents of every dollar raised goes to research, patient services, professional education, public health education, and community services.

Action: The NKF ensures that 37 million Americans living with chronic kidney disease get diagnosed, treated and supported early.
Education: The NKF provides the public, patients, and healthcare professionals with tools to promote kidney health.
Accelerating Change: The NKF advocates for change on Capitol Hill and supports life-saving research.

    Get Involved

If you’d like to learn more about the National Kidney Foundation or contribute to their mission, visit kidney.org or view our team’s fundraising page.

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and supported our team. Together, we’re making a difference in the fight against kidney disease!
