    Perficient and PGA Golfer Sepp Straka Bring Their A-Game With New Partnership

    April 9, 2024

    Perficient today announced an exciting, new partnership with world-renowned professional golfer, Sepp Straka. I had the opportunity to sit down with Bill Davis, Perficient Senior Vice President, to learn more about the partnership and why there’s such strong alignment between Perficient and Sepp Straka.

    Hi, Bill. Thanks for your time. Could you start off by sharing more about Perficient’s latest sports partnership?

    Hi, Carolyn. Yes, thank you for this. We are so excited to partner with championship golfer Sepp Straka. Golf’s a game that really resonates with our colleagues and clients, and Sepp is incredibly talented, so I couldn’t be more thrilled about this partnership.

    Golf is a global game that requires great dedication, talent, and skill. These are traits that Perficient colleagues demonstrate every day across our global organization. Sepp is also a fantastic representative of these values. He is recognized around the world for his game. He’s ranked 29th in the world and has numerous championship titles, including the 2023 Ryder Cup Champion and a two-time PGA TOUR winner.

    We’re thrilled to announce this partnership today ahead of this week’s Masters Tournament, an iconic competition where the best in the world come to compete. Sepp will now be representing Perficient as he competes at the game’s highest level. He is as dedicated to golf as Perficient is to our clients, and we’re so proud to have him as a partner.

    It sounds like there is great alignment between Sepp and Perficient. Can you speak more about this?

    In addition to sharing a sense of determination and pride in our respective fields, our partnership with Sepp will drive international visibility for our brand. Perficient continues to extend our global footprint, and most recently, we expanded our presence in Europe. Sepp was born in Vienna, Austria, so there’s an alignment and familiarity there. He moved to the U.S. when he was 14 and played collegiate golf at the University of Georgia. He was the first Austrian-born player to earn a PGA TOUR card in 2019, and he represented Austria at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

    As he plays on tour across the globe, Sepp will be sporting our Perficient logo on his apparel. Sepp’s international reach and his remarkable talent make me really excited about this partnership.

    What can we expect to see from this partnership?

    There will be a variety of sales enablement and client engagement opportunities. Sepp will meet with colleagues and clients, and there will even be on-course experiences to create fun, meaningful memories.

    We have seen amazing results from our other brand ambassadors and sports partnerships. They drive significant national and international exposure for the Perficient brand. Sepp joins a diverse group of Perficient brand ambassadors, including two NBA teams – the Dallas Mavericks and Minnesota Timberwolves – in addition to Atlanta United of the MLS, St. Louis Cardinals of the MLB, the St. Louis Blues of the NHL, Minotaur of Discovery Channel’s BattleBots, and 13 Formula SAE and Formula Student teams. The benefits of these relationships are countless, and it’s exciting to add a partnership with Sepp Straka to the list!

    How exciting! Thank you for this great discussion. I look forward to seeing everything in store with this partnership.

    Thank you, and so do I! You can follow along with Sepp this week as he plays in the Masters Tournament. We’re excited to cheer Sepp on as he contends for the famous green jacket. There will be many more opportunities in the future for this mutually valuable partnership to come to life.

    How to resolve “Error: TypeScript compilation failed.” issue in Gitlab CI?

    June 17, 2024

    I’m trying to learn to create a pipeline in Gitlab. All my tests fail because of the compilation issue. My code is included below along with the error message.
    import loginPage from “../PageObjects/loginPage”;

    fixture(‘Login Tests’)
    .page(‘https://www.saucedemo.com/’);

    test(‘User Login to the website’, async (t) => {
    await loginPage.loginWebsite(‘performance_glitch_user’,’secret_sauce’);
    });

    import { Selector, t } from “testcafe”;

    class loginPage{
    userName: Selector;
    password: Selector;
    loginBtn: Selector;
    pageName: Selector;

    constructor(){
    this.userName = Selector(‘#user-name’);
    this.password = Selector(‘#password’);
    this.loginBtn = Selector(‘#login-button’);
    this.pageName = Selector(‘.title’);
    }

    async loginWebsite(username, password){
    await t
    .typeText(this.userName, username)
    .typeText(this.password, password)
    .click(this.loginBtn)
    .expect(Selector(this.pageName).innerText).eql(‘Products’);
    }
    }

    export default new loginPage;
