    I would love for Final Fantasy to return to turn-based combat, and thanks to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33,it might

    Square Enix recently held a shareholders meeting, answering various questions from the media. One reporter asked if Square Enix is willing to make future Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest games ‘command-based’ while citing Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Square Enix responds that they respect ‘command-based’ RPGs and will continue to make their games like so.
