Can you believe it’s already June? As we move further into 2025, it’s a perfect time to reflect on the journey we’ve taken thus far, including the wins, generosity, and impactful moments that have defined our incredible colleague community.
Encouraging The Spirit of Giving At Perficient
The kindness of our colleagues is unmatched, and Perficient’s Giving Employee Resource Group (ERG) sets a shining example of dedication and generosity for others around the world. Whether through volunteer efforts, financial contributions, or simply offering support where needed, we’ve seen remarkable commitment to giving back from individuals and business units across Perficient. Each initiative has fostered not just charitable contributions but also a sense of unity, reminding us of the power of collective action.
Through the first half of 2025, we’ve witnessed inspiring stories detailing how colleagues joined together to support those in need, made others smile through small and impactful gestures, and renewed emphasis on sustainable giving practices. Each effort reinforced the idea that generosity isn’t about quantity but about the meaningful differences that we’re making in our communities.
Reflecting On The Differences We’re Making in 2025
From the start of the year, Perficient’s Giving ERG has coordinated a mix of events, inspiring conversations, and transformative initiatives. Continue reading for key highlights showcasing the impact Perficient and our colleagues have made.
January: The year began with an energetic start, including introducing the first of five additional recipients for our Perficient Gives Global Grants Program and a coordinated volunteer effort for World Down Syndrome Day. 
- We announced the Down Syndrome Diagnosis Network (DSDN) as the first organization from our second round of nominations to receive a donation from Perficient through the Perficient Gives Global Grants Program. DSDN is the largest national organization supporting new and expectant parents with a Down syndrome diagnosis. The mission of DSDN is to connect, support, and provide accurate information to parents and the medical professionals who serve them, from the time of diagnosis through age three while fostering the opportunity for lifelong connections.
- With the help of family, friends, and the power of sharing, the Burwell family was able to raise more than $11K to purchase 755 pairs of pals socks for the entire Argyle West Elementary School to wear on March 21, 2025, in support of World Down Syndrome Day!

Perficient Empowers Change: Global Grants, Community Reports, and Colleague-Led Impact
February and March: During this time, we saw a surge in engagement with colleagues making waves through fundraisers, volunteer-driven projects, and awareness campaigns.
- Perficient’s Giving ERG announced Digi-Bridge and ABACO as the second and third recipients of the Perficient Gives Global Grants Program. Digi-Bridge sparks interest and persistence in STEAM learning, ensuring students in under-represented communities have access, opportunities and skills to succeed in a rapidly changing world. ABACO is a non-profit organization that fights hunger and food insecurity in Colombia.
- We published our 2024 Community Impact Report! Perficient and our colleagues share a common goal—making a difference in the communities in which we live and work. Explore the full report here.
- On behalf of each booth visitor at Adobe Summit, Perficient donated to Girls Who Code, an international nonprofit committed to supporting and increasing the number of women in computer science.
- Katie Burwell, senior talent acquisition specialist, Corporate Talent Acquisition, coordinated several events through FIT4MOM Denton County which included a book drive in with Maddie’s Mended Heart Foundation, where books are donated to children in the hospital undergoing heart surgery.
- We announced the fourth and fifth recipients of the Perficient Gives Global Grants Program which was Breakthrough T1D and The Akshaya Patra Foundation.
From Heartfelt Community Drives to Global Grants: A Season of Giving at Perficient
April and May: In honor of Earth Day, Perficient‘s Giving Employee Resource Group challenged all global teams and colleagues to do something green during April. From picking up trash on highways and collecting used sneakers for donation, to carpooling to work and tending to their gardens, our colleagues are passionate about preserving Earth for future generations! 
- Our Charlotte office participated in an onsite activity with the Charlotte Rescue Mission and Crisis Assistance Ministry. The team sorted, inspected, and organized donated items to stock the Free Store, which provides families in our community with essentials at no charge.
- Raj Merchant, director, Data Solutions, volunteered with Feeding Charlotte in early May at the organization’s Feeding Charlotte Feeds event, where volunteers collectively packed up 5,000 boxed lunches that were delivered to multiple recipient partners within Charlotte.
- Our St. Louis colleagues came together to clean up the local highway. Colleagues picked up trash and made a significant impact on Earth Day!
- Gayathri Narayanan, SQA Manager, Chennai, is carpooling to reduce CO2!
- Zack Everett, technical architect, Digital Marketing, is working with Perficient’s PRISM ERG to launch a new Gardening series!
- Katie Burwell, coordinated a Food Drive with FIT4MOM Denton County benefitting Up Ministry in which they donated over 1,408 food items!
Forging the Future Through Community Impact
Quarterly reflections have allowed us to take stock of how far we’ve come, ensuring that our efforts remain intentional and impactful.
Looking ahead, there’s still so much to accomplish, and the excitement around upcoming events and initiatives continues to grow.
As we continue paving a bright path in 2025, our colleagues are united by a shared sense of motivation to push boundaries, deepen contributions, and uplift those around us. If the past few months have proven anything, it’s that change happens when great minds and brilliant people join together with purpose.
