Nowadays, the topic of artificial intelligence is everywhere. Let’s face it!. Who, even out of curiosity, has asked a question to generate an image, refine ideas, or seek answers in one of the many artificial intelligence applications on the market?
Now, parallel to this conversation, there are numerous myths about the arrival and use of artificial intelligence, some of which we will address in this article.
Increased data exposure and privacy vulnerability
Service providers must comply with regulations, standards, and practices that prevent the misuse of user information. This requires special attention to data governance and use; this is not the fault of artificial intelligence.
Acquiring AI Solutions is very expensive
There is a wide variety of AI tool offerings on the market, which allows for greater price competitiveness. Furthermore, platforms offer different payment schemes for licensing and use. Likewise, today, there are applications whose free version allows us to experiment with AI.
AI will replace jobs
AI is not intended to replace the current way of working; rather, it has arrived to complement human work by streamlining their tasks, time, processes, etc. Consider this: if you want to generate an image for a post in an advertising campaign, human input is required at the prompt to generate it. However, this process is faster than sketching and producing a design from scratch.
On the other hand, a study by the McKinsey Global Institute mentions that: “While automation could affect approximately 15% of global jobs by 2030, it could also generate between 40 and 160 million new jobs, depending on the speed with which new technologies are adopted and the evolution of labor demand” (Samsung, 2025).
AI is difficult and not for every business
Many of today’s applications allow users to ask questions in natural language and in multiple languages. All of this, without the need for technical programming knowledge or writing complex code. Think about how you asked the chat to help you generate or correct a text for your business presentation. Wasn’t that simple?
Well, after dispelling some myths about AI, I invite you to ride the wave of this new technological trend by testing the applications supported by your company, reading other articles and trends, and, above all, always observing the positive impact of AI for everyone.
